Giant bamboo with culms of up to 8 meters in height and up to 4 cm in diameter.

Very hardy down to -35°C

This form has yellow culms with a green sulcus. The surface of the stem is rough and pubescent, and the colour can be red in full sun.

Highly decorative and strong growing bamboos, very well suited for wind screens at sites facing north. They are very hardy and resistant to dry conditions.
